Multifunctional Trail
Lac Desmarais is the ideal location for biking enthusiasts. It’s located just half a kilometre from the multifunctional trail Le P’tit Train du Nord, which runs 200 kilometres from St-Jérôme to Mont-Laurier and includes some stretches that are paved. This is the perfect place for young and old to cycle, in-line skate or take a walk in the summertime. Come winter, this trail is transformed into a cross-country skiers’ paradise.

Hot summer days will find denizens of Desmarais en Montagne heading down to Desmarais Landing. Gated at the entrance, Desmarais Landing provides residents common access to the lake, with parking, boat racks, chairs and a swimming area. Slip in your scull, your kayak or canoe.
